Time: Doors open at 5pm with presentations beginning at 5:30pm
Location: 707 NW 6th Street, Okeechobee
This
event will provide our residents with hurricane information such as how to prepare your family and pets, what to bring to a shelter, special medical needs shelter information/registration, volunteer opportunities and more! There will be presentations by our knowledgeable Emergency Management staff, WPBF 25 Meteorologists, and National Weather Service to help residents navigate the 2024 storm season.
With meteorologist predicting an active season, you don't want to miss this informative opportunity to prepare as we move into the 2024 hurricane season.
