PUBLIC NOTICE
The Okeechobee County Code Enforcement Special Magistrate will hold regular monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. in the Okeechobee County Health Department Auditorium, 1728 NW 9th Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida.
Prior to each meeting date, the agenda for that meeting will be available at the Community Development Department, 1700 NW 9th Avenue, Suite A, and on the Okeechobee County website.
Members of the public shall have the opportunity to be heard at public meetings. Any person deciding to appeal any decision by the Special Magistrate with respect to any matter considered at a meeting or hearing will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made and that the record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal will be based. Community Development Department tapes are for the sole purpose of backup for official records of the department.
